# Messaging #todo This isn't ready yet, sorry. ## How to start great chats #todo Tips for getting more replies #todo Note community standards, rules against pressuring for personal info, generic/short messages, etc. ## Who's turn is it to write? Wusoup keeps track of **who last sent a message** in each chat: - Chats with a **blue circle** are waiting on a reply **from you**. - Chats with a **green circle** are waiting on a reply **from your chat partner**. So there's no need to mark chats as "unread" to remember to come back to them, just look for the **chats in blue circles**. #todo Include screenshots. ## Why is no one replying? #todo This isn't ready yet, sorry. ## How long are messages stored? For technical and privacy reasons, Wusoup only keeps the last 30 or so messages from each chat. That should (hopefully!) be enough to remember what you were talking about with someone. And there's a useful **private notes feature** that you can use for jotting down something important someone tells you that you want to make sure to remember, etc. **Update**: I'm considering adding longer/exportable chat histories if there's [[Getting Started/What's New#Upcoming improvements|community interest]].
