# Invites > **Note**: invites are **currently disabled** There's two ways for new members to [[Getting Started/How to Join|join Wusoup]]: 1. By **invitation** of an existing member (needs an invite). 2. By **application** (without an invite). ## Earning invites (to give to others) Each time you reach a new [[Usage/Karma|karma]] level, you'll be rewarded with **+0.1** invites. This means that you'll earn +1 full invite _every 10 levels_. You can give these invites to friends, to let them join the community. > You can't have more than 2 unused invites at once, so there's an incentive to use (give) them when you have them! ## Giving invites #todo This isn't ready yet, sorry! Invites can only be given by users with a positive [[Usage/Reputation|community reputation]].
