If you try to pin more, it'll auto unpin the user least recently active. - Algorithm - Smarter **matching**: better prioritize users based on shared interests - Smarter **message alerts**: don't alert about low-quality messages - Smarter **automod**: catch more sketchy behaviour, faster - Misc - Use **less data** on mobiles - Regularly **re-verify email addresses** to help cull dead/unresponsive accounts ### 2025 June - **User browser**: separate "**rated users**" and "**quarantine zone**" areas - **User browser**: show thumbnails for upcoming users - "**New**" and "**online**" user counts now way more accurate - *Big* improvements to the algorithm that chooses which users to show when browsing, and in what order - Dropped "**serendipity mode**" live chat feature, plan to replace it with something much cooler in an upcoming release - Profiles clearly indicate whose turn it is to message ("your turn to reply", etc) - Lots of minor bug fixes and backend improvements - Lots of groundwork for future stuff ### 2025 May - Removed progress bars for community reputation (these were maybe placing too much emphasis on ratings, and making downvotes look overly severe) - Fixed issue preventing users from viewing the profile of someone that blocked them - Removed default headline and "about me" text from profiles - Users without at least a username and headline set will now be hidden by default - More background improvements ### 2025 April - Profiles now show **country flags** - Profiles now show when users **joined Wusoup** - Displayed community reputation is now approximate (e.g. ">80% positive") - Significant improvements to automod speed and accuracy - More background improvements ### 2025 March - Major background improvements to support upcoming stuff ### 2025 February - [[Usage/Reputation|Community ratings]] have been rebalanced, some users may now have a **higher rating** for the same votes - [[Usage/Karma|Karma]] levels have been rebalanced.
